|30-07-2019 am| Sperm whales and Striped dolphins in the South of Pico island
On the morning expedition of the 30th of July the lookout of the South of Pico found a pod of 7-8 Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus), so we went to find them. The pod had at least one juvenile. At the end of the trip, the vigia de São Caetano "Antero" found the fast Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) and we had a great session with these wild dolphins.
