|15-07-2019 pm| A trip for dolphin lovers: Bottlenose and Atlantic-spotted dolphins and Sperm whales

We had a special private tour focused on dolphins: a family that wanted to find Atlantic-spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis). The first that we found were the Bottlenose (Tursiops truncatus), you can't control wildlife! They were socalizing, jumping and close to the boat. We moved to see Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus), beautiful dives with Pico Island as a background. Afterwards Atlantic-spotted dolphins were at sight so we moved to their area. The show was wordless and we could collect a lot of behavior data from them. The pictures of the expedition can be found below.

And we also saw a Blue Shark (Prionace glauca).
