|22-07-2019| Sperm whales and 2 species of dolphins in the North of Faial island
The expedition has started with only dolphins at sight, but as soon as we have reached the dolphins' area, the lookouts have found Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus). A trip that was suposed to be only among dolphins, has turned out to be a quite diverse one with 3 different species of cetaceans: Atlantic-spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis), Risso's dolphins (Grampus griseus) and Sperm whales,
