|21072020| Biggest toothed whale

The sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) are one amazing species to look at.

Today we could see at least 3 different indivuals. The tails will be unique for each individual, working has their fingerprints. When they go explore the deep waters they always show their tail.

Besides seeing the biggest toothed whale we saw friendly groups of spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis).

In our morning expedition we also saw a loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) and in our afternoon trip we had a huge surprise of a sperm whale jumping! Such a good way to end the day.

Thank you for joining us! Enjoy and share the photos from our expedition.

See you soon!
