Great expedition today! Thanks to you, we managed to collect data for our monitoring programs, including humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) and common dolphins (Delphinus delphis).
If the morning expedition was good then we are speechless for this afternoon's expedition!
We had the privilege of observing 5 different humpback whales!
We were able to see different behaviors - the whales were in transit, feeding, and the best part, 3 humpback whales showed curiosity with us and came close to our boat.
Something funny, during the sighting we also had the pleasure of smelling the whales' breath. Let's just say it's not one of the best smells!

Grande expedição hoje! Graças a vós conseguimos recolher dados para os nossos programas de monitorização ambiental, incluindo baleia de bossa (Megaptera novaeangliae) e golfinhos comuns (Delphinus delphis).
Se a expedição da manhã foi boa então estamos sem palavras para a expedição desta tarde!
Tivemos o privilégio de observar 5 diferentes baleias de bossa!
Conseguimos ver diferentes comportamentos - as baleias estiveram em trânsito, em alimentação e a melhor parte, 3 baleias de bossa mostraram curiosidade connosco e vieram perto do nosso barco.
Algo engraçado, durante o avistamento também tivemos o prazer de sentir o cheiro do sopro das baleias. Digamos que não é dos melhores odores!
