Great expedition today! Thanks to you we managed to collect data for our monitoring programs, including sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus).

Today we saw the male that normally is around the island of São Miguel. They gave him the name of Mr Liable because he does always the same dive time and keeps the same direction, something very uncommon for the male sperm whales.

Grande expedição hoje! Graças a vós conseguimos recolher dados para os nossos programas de monitorização ambiental, incluindo cachalotes (Physeter macrocephalus).

Hoje avistámos o macho que normalmente é avistado na ilha de São Miguel. Deram-lhe o nome de Mr Liable pois faz sempre os mesmos tempos de mergulho e mantem sempre a mesma direção, algo pouco incomum para os machos cachalotes.
