|27-08-2019 5 pm| Socializing Sperm whales and Common dolphins

In this evening expedition we went out to enjoy the group of Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) that had been around the whole day. They were still socializing and calm. Some of the juveniles got curious and approached the boat. We were alone with them so we could enjoy it perfectly.

On the way back to Horta, a pod of around 60 Short-beaked common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) crossed our way and we stopped and enjoyed them a bit more.

Thank you all for joining our team. You can enjoy and share the pictures that our biologist Maria took during the expedition.
