|06-07-2019 pm| Swimming with dolphins with a great surprise

In the swimming with dolphins acivity the Naturalists onboard manage to swim with a large pod of Atlantic-spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis).

But something happened that forced us to stop the activity: 3 Sperm whales (Physeter maacrocephalus) came to the surface after diving. We enjoyed the encounter and we continued with the snorkeling as the dolphins were in a different area.

At some point, we felt the animals stopped enjoying our presence in the water so we spent the rest of the time observing them from the boat.

That was the moment when 2 Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) crossed our path. They were moving fast and erratically, so the pictures are not the best they could be. Another memorable afternoon!
