|13-08-2019 2 pm| Sperm whales and dolphins in the Azores

Updated: Sep 30, 2019

Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) were still in the area and we went after them. Striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) were there too.

The Sperm whales were no diving anymore but socializing and resting. We could enjoy some splashes and even watch their heads as they were spy hoping.

Thank you for going out with Naturalist.pt suporting research and responsible tourism. Enjoy the picturs that our biologist Maria took during the activity.
