|03092020| Full bellies

An amazing morning with #Picoisland on the background in all of our sightings!!

The first thing that we saw this morning was a beautiful sei whale (Balaenoptera borealis) and a lot of seabirds, mostly the cory's shearwater (Calonectris borealis) but there was also a few great shearwater (Puffinus gravis).

Together with the whale and the birds were also a huge pod of spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis).

All of them were feeding!! We could also see multiple balls of fish running away and seeking protection under our boat.

After having their bellies full the sei whale went away and the dolphins stayed with us, coming multiple times close to the boat and performing some cool jumps!

Thank you for joining us! Enjoy and share the photos from our expedition.

See you soon!
