Great expeditions! Thank you for experiencing this with us and helping us by supporting our research! Today it was possible to collect data on Sperm whales (Physeter macrophelacus) and common dolphins (Dephinus delphis)!
Our first sighting was of two sperm whales breathing gently on the surface! After they dove and showed their beautiful fluke we continued to search for more! And we found them! We continued to see the sperm whales diving until we decided to start our way back home!
As we traveled back to Horta we had a lovely surprise! Common dolphins, a good pod, traveling with us! What a great sighting!!
