A pod of 10 False-killer whales (Pseudorca crassidens) was in the South of Faial. These black creatures havent been spotted frequently this year around Faial and Pico so far. Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus) where also around. So we could enjoy both species and collect useful information from them.
